PT. One Vision Son Cares for Siblings in the Orphanage

Visits and social services to orphanages carried out by PT. Satu Visi Putra where the activity aims to strengthen and establish good friendship ties.

This activity was carried out on Saturday, January 15 2022. PT. Satu Visi Putra visited several orphanages located in Surabaya. There were 4 orphanages visited (Pondok Hayat, Convent of the Maria Mediatrix Convent (TMM), Charity Services, Baitul Yamin). In some of these orphanages there are lots of children - children who are still small, teenagers, to adults and there are also children with special needs (ABK).

In this activity PT. Satu Visi Putra provided some basic food assistance such as rice, sugar, milk, oil, instant noodles, as well as fans and some carpets. Not only basic necessities, we also provided a little fortune for orphanages. After providing the basic necessities to the orphanage, we were given permission to enter to see the younger siblings who were there as well as provide encouragement and motivation so that the younger siblings were more enthusiastic about learning to achieve their goals.

The activity was able to take place smoothly and solemnly and the support from various parties helped to smooth the activity even though the visit was very short but left an impression on all of us. PT. Satu Visi Putra and several of the orphanages we have visited were very enthusiastic about participating in this activity so that the existing kinship ties would be even tighter. Social service activities do not only focus on material donations, but also immaterial assistance needs to be distributed to orphanages because immaterial assistance can give them happiness and joy which makes them enthusiastic about living life. Hopefully with a little food assistance from the company it can be a blessing for the brothers and sisters in the orphanage.
